At CEF, we feel blessed to have multiple ministries available to reach children in the Greater Akron Area! Below are just some of the ministries CEF has to offer.
Good News Club
Good News Club is a Bible based after school program held in in the public schools. This time is filled with fun songs, energetic games, interactive learning
activities, scripture memorization and weekly Bible lessons. Each of our club’s leadership team is made up of Christian volunteers who are background checked
according to CEF’s Child Protection Policy and required to attend regular trainings. Good News Club is open to all children ages 5-12, regardless of religious
background.

5-Day Club
5-Day Club is a summer based program held throughout the Greater Akron area. Each club is held at individual’s homes/backyards, parks, churches and community
centers and last for a consecutive 5 days for 90 minutes each day. Each club includes high octane games, dynamic Bible lessons and fun activities for children
to participate in. Each club is taught by a team of trained missionaries.

CYIA
CYIA stands for Christian Youth in Action which is a week-long training held at Cedarville University. This training is for teens and young adults to attend
which trains and enables them to be Senior Missionaries, Senior Missionaries Assistants, and Junior Missionaries for summer 5-Day Club. This training is intense
and challenging but encourages students use their time in the summer to serve others and help spread the Gospel.

Camp Good News
The international Camp Good News® program has been an active part of the ministry of CEF throughout the years. Using CEF owned or rented facilities, trained staff maintain
an exciting program focused on evangelism and discipleship.
